Jill is a miniature replica of a vintage style beaded purse. This small needlework purse may be used for a special pair of scissors, needlework tools, coins, or as a business card holder.
The lower part of the purse takes it's shape starting with a layer of multi-colored silk. This layer is topped with small metallic accent stitches and then filled in with hundreds of antique colored petite seed beads. It's fun to watch the color change as you add more layers. The purse frame is created with Kreinik metallics and petite seed beads. The petite seed beads are nestled in the stitches. The finishing touch is a beaded swag fringe that dangles gracefully from the bottom edge of the purse. Stitched design area 2 5/8" X 4 3/4". Suitable for all levels.
